HoA Work
Our work in the Horn of Africa (HoA) includes the creation of an environment that enables the appropriate policy and legal frameworks; strengthening institutional processes, providing public sector employees with the relevant tools and skills to advance their roles in their respective positions; community participation (of women in particular) in all political and decision-making processes; human resources development; and strengthening of managerial systems.
Translation and Monitoring and Evaluation: FOHOF specializes in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), trainings, institutional strengthening, and professional translations and interpreting (English-Somali & vice versa and English-Arabic & vice versa).
